Exit country changed, or IP checkers disagree

What the exit-country and timezone launch checks mean, and how to accept a new exit.

With Refuse if the exit country changed on, the first launch of a profile records its exit country as a baseline. A later launch is refused if the exit has moved, with: its exit moved from one country to another since the recorded date.

  1. If the move is expected, for example you changed proxy on purpose, open the profile drawer and choose Accept new exit. The next launch records wherever the profile comes out as the new baseline.
  2. If the move is not expected, check the proxy in Proxies. A rotating or misconfigured proxy is the usual cause.
  3. If Start says the exit could not be established while this check is on, fix the proxy or your connection first.

Settings, Network and proxies, IP checker, Service can use ipinfo.io (the default), ip-api.com, or both. With both, a launch is refused when the two disagree about where the proxy comes out only if Refuse if the exit country changed is also on; with that setting off, the disagreement is written to the agent log and the profile still starts. When the launch is refused with: the IP checkers disagree about where this proxy comes out, check the proxy again, or choose a single service.

With Refuse when the exit timezone is disputed on, a launch is refused when IP-location sources disagree about the exit's timezone. Set an explicit timezone on the profile, or use a different proxy.

A profile without a proxy and with an automatic timezone needs the location of your own connection. If that lookup fails, retry, or choose an explicit timezone for the profile.
